Water leak 2015 FC

I purchased a new 2015 FC late November of 2014. The TT has been in covered storage since our purchase. I pick up the TT on Friday afternoon, packed it up and we left for our maden voyage Saturday. Friday night in the rain and a wet run to the San Juan islands in the Pacific North West. All good until we went to bed.....the mattress and sheets adjacent to the wall were soaked with water. I noticed drip marks on the wall...,,.when I pushed against an aluminum wall panel over lap just above the drip marks water was pushed out from underneath.

Question:Uunderstanding that water is between the exterior and interior wall panels from potentially roof to floor what would the proper repair procedure be to assure that future impacts from the water is avoided? Will warranty replace my 2 month old trailer with a new one?

Suggestions?

Doug

From what I have read here on the forum. You will have a tough time getting the coach replaced with a new one. It would not surprise me that a trip to Ohio will be in your future. Unless it is something like a window or vent leaking.
So much for the leak test at the factory.

I had a bad leak in my 2014 FC 20 around the front pano window. A trip to the dealer in Boise resolved it to my satisfaction, and have had no more leaks since. It is a common warrantee issue. I can't imagine that AS would ever replace the trailer due to a leak.

Endured a similar situation with a happy result. I purchased my FC right out of the showroom in the midst of one of the rainiest winters here on the coast. When I brought it home and parked it (sans shelter) I noticed a small trickle of water coming from one of the bathroom seams. Yes, it was upsetting - back to the dealership it went. I am happy to report that the dealership fixed that leak (and another smaller one by the emergency widow later that same year). Has been dry as a bone for almost four years now.

Try the dealership and see what happens. Hopefully it will go as well as it did with the FaN.
