Trim level differences
Okay, I know that the Flying Cloud is the low end and the Classic is the high end. As I study the specs, it seems that a 30' Classic has a 10,000 pound GVWR while all of the lower levels have an 8800 pound GVWR. Both, though, have similar CCC (~2200 pounds). That tells me that there is ~1200 pounds difference in dry (empty) weight. So what are those things that make up that 1200 pounds? A 40-pound aluminum propane tank weighs about as much as a 30-pound steel one, so there is about 20 pounds worth of propane. The Classic gets a two-bowl kitchen sink, while the others get a smaller round one. That may account for a couple of pounds. The Classic has a sliding door between the bath and bedroom, while the others have a curtain, but then the Classic has a walk-through bathroom, so no door to the toilet. Wash? The Classic has a couch that looks heavier, but I suspect that there really isn't all that much difference, but I don't know.
So, what really IS the difference? For context, the search I'm using is 30' and longer, 2005 and newer, rear queen bed, 50A service, asking price of $75,000 or less, at a dealer.
