Trailer inspection in colorado

Very excited to finally become an airstream owner but before that happens looking to have one inspected in Colorado as I live out of state . I've sent a couple of emails to various members but no response if any one could advise of a person / organization who could do this service

Please tell us where in Colorado. There are are Airstream owners all over CO who are often willing to inspect within their "quadrant," NE, NW, SE, SW. It's a big state with mountain ranges dividing it.

Okay. Ouray is an easy trip from Durango. Send a PM to Ken J. You might also try Zeppelinium. Offer to reimburse for fuel. Good luck!

Trailer Inspection, Colorado

Hello,

I live in Montrose, CO, just 30 miles north of Ouray. Have been an Airstream owner for over 40 years. Would be happy to assist you in the trailer inspection. Would like to hear of your expectations regarding an inspection, details.

Now remember Usalindaloo, you want a written inspection checklist so you know the working condition of the Airstream and every component in it:
Air conditioner does it cool?
Heater, does it heat?
Hot water heater, does it heat water?
Water pump, does it pump?
Battery, how old?
Converter/Charger, does it work?
Will refrigerator freeze water in the freezer and keep food in the fridge at 32 to 39 degrees Fahrenheit?
Tires, how old ( you can't rum 'em more than 5 years no matter how nice they look)
Do not commit to purchasing any Airstream for which you don't know these answers ( and a bunch more) with certainty.
I will try to PM you an inspection checklist.

I live in Colorado Springs. I am thinking of buying a vintage (1992) Airstream from owner also in COS. I have checklist but would certainly appreciate help understanding what I am looking at and what I am not getting were I to buy a more current model.

Thanks.
