The new bathroom door is std for 2019, I do not think it would be worth the time and money to retro fit one. We had thought of replacing the door with a curtain on a curved rod in or older 23D. It would be great to be able to mix and match some of the new 'upgrades' with some from the past, like the floors in the storage areas ~ used to be a nice diamond plate now a rubber mat!

I started a new post for the Air Conditioning Vents we made:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f427/air-conditioning-vents-190181.html

If you’re interested in learning more about these and might like a set then please reply on the above link.

I will start to work out the cost of a short production run if I can get at least 10 members who are interested.

You 3D printed the mounting collar, but where did you buy the diffuser?

From a factory in Asia.

They are not available retail. The closest thing you’ll find spec wise is here: https://seiho.com/product/index2.html

These are usually special order parts so the price will vary wildly.

I was able to get them directly from a factory in Asia (I’m in engineering/design and had a contact who was able to find them for me).

The closest thing I’ve seen on the market is made by a Japanese Company (Seiho):

Poke around the web...

About 3 weeks ago I completed a Florida trip (down west coast to Key West, back up the east coast). Included in this trip was wife, Sister-in-law from AZ and Mother-in-Law from North Dakota. All in the 23'D Airstream. They did not shut up the whole trip !!! a little over 2300 miles. Never again without a Bose Headset!

Rob, thanks for the offer. The issue is clearance from opening the mirror. It’s very thin, I’m not sure one could be made from wood. Check out yours and let me know what you think.

Can you laminate aluminum?

We upgraded from the stock 14” tires and wheels on our 2015 23D at the selling dealership. We put on 15” SenDel wheels (5 lugnuts to attach to stock 10” brake drums) and 15” Michelin tires. Run 44 psi in the Michelin tires. They have a larger foot print on the road for better braking and a softer ride for the trailer. Had the same model Michelin tires and air pressure on our 2013 25 FB that was 900 pounds heavier loaded for camping.

Rich,

There is 5/8" clearance between my wall and the arc of the top cabinet door... plenty of room.

I 'can' laminate the aluminum, but would prefer to use 1/16" Baltic birch. It could be very easily made to look quite good.

Just let me know... I don't want to 'force feed' this idea, but I'd be happy to make a panel for you.

This just seems weird to me. It seems to me that if the brass catches are fully closed, they would prevent most all up/down movement of the curved doors, and thus protect from hinge failure. Are you sure that your doors are 'latched' securely when closed?

Just wonderin'
