My own private caravan!
Pulled the three together today, so I could take pictures. Wanted to show them off. Just too bad none of them are ready for their maiden voyage. I'll post a bunch here, hope you all don't mind.
I'll include some from the ride home with The new Overlander
On the left, is Lance, the 1964 26' Overlander
In the middle, is Joey, the 1968 22' Safari
On the Right, is Ralph, the 1976 27' Overlander
Thanks for taking a look...
Ron

TCL,I have to ask. Where are you parking them all? The three together looked terrific. I could only laugh imagining what it took to get them lined up in a row. So, since it looks like a litter, what's the pecking order? Which one is top dog? Lance, Joey, or Ralph?

Thanks All, I hate to brag, but I had to post it. What a pretty site!!! well, outside, at least.
Hmmm...pecking order. Ralph takes the lead. then Joey, then Lance. Lance is like the runt....you know, not all there....literally....LOL
Thanks Summerkid, I thought you may never talk to me again.
I actually didn't have too much trouble with them. I remember my first posts, with the Moraine View rally thread, I was sure that someone would have to park the Safari for me.
Now I am pretty darn good at whipping them around. Just felt a little too proud last night. It took an hour to get Lance out of the alley, ther turns were too tight, with all of the cars on the street. what a nightmare....LOL
I just shared with Zamboni that we found that the Joey can be quite easily pushed around. I was pulling it, Tony was pushing it, my legs slipped from beneith me, on both sides of the jack wheel, and I thought for sure I was about to be castrated by an airstream. It wasn't stopping!!! LOL

Ron,
You are truely incredible. Tackeling three airstreams for restoration. And doing beautiful work!!.
You should definately write more than just a website on your restorations. A book!!
Please keep showing us your progress. It is amazing!!
I don't think I could tackle such a task. I would get too discouraged by my lack of imagination.

How am I able to do it....
Adult Attention Deficite Disorder....
that's it in a nutshell. I have done a million and one things, but this is the first thing that I think I will stick with. I can't beleive the experiences I've had in three short months.
Oh, and for a book...We discussed that already....
DREAM STEALERS.
The Stories of Two Men Who Drove Off With Other Peoples Dreams
We didn't understand why the man was almost crying when we drove off with Joey in January, but now it's more and more difficult. The emotions pour out of people. I never thought airstreams could be accompanied by so much guilt.

It's, " The Tin Can Luv Train "
Very nice you guys, That is a nice lineup ya have there.
Keep letting us know how these projects are going. That 64 looks to have great potential, I'm a little partial to those 64's.

the 68
The 68 will always be my baby, since it was my first. But the ones that get the most work will be the ones I'm most partial to.
I thought I would throw in this other picture taken from behind. Looks like they are all joined together....Too bad it's against the law to pull so many, but on the other hand, my truck would never make it out of the parking lot LOL

Question for you
I see on one of your trailers you are planing on using frosted plexi glass to replace the tambour. How are they going to be attached? If you have done this already can you maybe post some pics. I'm trying to figure out an easy fix for my 71 Safari, the tambour is missing in a few cupboards. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, all your trailers look great, as does your website.
