Looks as if you gotta do a little trouble shooting here. Simple stuff, I'm not an electrician either. First check and determine what outlets or appliances are served by the breaker in question. Unplug or disconnect one at a time attempting a re-set after each one (shouldn't be too many) starting with the microwave. If no luck there (gotta be careful here) try removing the breaker and switching with another or replacing. Beyond this find a friend that knows what they are doing to continue.
