Just starting the search

New member here, but been following the classifieds for a while. I am looking for a vintage trailer in the 20 to 25' range for restoration and would like to know what to avoid in terms of year, size, style. In other words, are there any particular models and years that had more serious and difficult problems to overcome in the restoration process. Also, suggestions on which size has the best resale value, long-term...I'm not doing a fix-n-flip, but do want to make rational choices from the beginning. Any input is appreciated; suggestions for where else to look on the forum for answers, personal experiences, etc.
Thanks for any and all feedback.

Best,
Terry H

How do you intend to use the trailer?
The earlier trailers are not as camp equipped as later models, no grey water tanks, etc.
You will want to stay closer to 20' if you intend to tow it with your Tacoma, also the more vintage trailers are lighter than later models so that may sway your search.

Thanks, Alan,
I plan to eventually use it for a cross-country trip (getting closer to retirement). In the interim, it would be weekend use within a short 2-3 hour drive away, at most.

I appreciate the input (and I love the Will Rogers quote!)
Best,
