How can I determine year of Airstream

Hi ,i recently purchased a airstream land yacht, how do i find out the year?
There is no plates at door or anywhere else that I can located. the previous owner had started a remodel job and completely change door frame. I plan to finish the project. The Airstream is now placed in a permanent location, wheels removed, with interior wheel wells gone. Turning it into a man cave/bar structure on an RV lot.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

On the curb side about 5' from the front there should be a plate that has the date of manufacture on it. Mine says 10-23-86 and that makes it an 87.

The plate on the trailer serial is I 31 T 1 J 1849

What that means is you have an International 31 foot Airstream, with a rear bath and twin beds, a 1971 model made in Jackson Center Ohio.

The 1849 number is a production number.

On the small plate under the word land yacht stamped in the metal (hard to see) is the serial number. Now for the smart butt oh heck yes where is the flower box? What no screen door? You have your work cut out for you please post some inside pictures! You can do this!
