'55 or '56?

Hi all, still kinda new here but I have a question in need of an answer. Just acquired my first AS Serial #7958 anybody have any info on where or when it was built? sorry I havent figured out pictures yet-I took lots and will post soon, good exterior but no useable interior. Nice whale tail. just what i have been looking for.

Based on the VIN number, sounds like you have a late 1955 Flying Cloud built in CA. All Flying Clouds were made in CA in 1955 and the VIN #'s ranged from 7750-7975. Ohio built 22-footers were Safari's & Panorama's in 1955. Being that it was made late in the year, it may not have been registered until 1956 - which might be what's on your title.

I'm guessing we have seen your cloud near the park in Mapleton. We live just down the road in Springville. We have redone a 1964 Globetrotter. We would sure like to meet and see your cloud up close. I'm sure Shari is right on about your serial number, she's right there with a similar vintage, OH vs. CA. If I can help, let me know.
