We had trouble with getting the awning on our 2018 Serenity 28FB to retract properly, and the dealer says the roller motor is defective. We've been waiting on a replacement for a month now. I've heard of so many problems with these I'm wondering if there was just a bad batch, or is Zip Dee making an engineering change, or can we expect similar issues with the replacement motor.
Anyone have insight?
I so wish I hadn't fallen for the dealer's line that the resale value would suffer if we didn't get the power awnings. So not worth the extra big pile of cash, especially with all the issues.
