Exclamation 2015 Flying Cloud 25 FB Twin

I have a new Airstream with ducted air. Roof vents keep falling out. It has become a safety issue. Has anyone out there had same problem?

Are they the directional vents? If so PM moosetags on here - he has had the same problem and I am sure by now he has figured out a good fix.

They are directional vent that also can be turned off.

See pg 87 of 2015 Flying Cloud 25FB thread where moosetags shows their solution to this issue.

We just took a 2100 mile trek with no vent problems.

We have had the same problem with our ducts. We have now added some pieces of two sided tape on the little tabs that hold the duct to the ceiling. We started off with the tape on three of the tabs. On a couple of the vents, we have tape on five or six of the tabs.

We have found that this issue is most prevalent when we are using the heat pump and air conditioner in the same day. We have been doing this almost every day on our current trip out west.

Here is a photo of where we put the tape on the vent tabs.
