There are a few of us with Caravanner's. They were built in the late 50's and again in the early 70's. It not as commons as a Safari, Flying Cloud or a Overlander BUT not as rare as some like a Falcon. The year your looking at is on a shared platform with the Flying Cloud, Safari and Falcon.
The posted link is your best bet for getting a idea of a price. It's rareness is not really going to influence the price. THe conditon is the main factor in the price.
It has been said the caravanner was better equipped for "Boondocking". Our coach was a self suficient unit but I am aware of units that were more park model and The person who owned it is only 30 miles from me and they own two 58's so not very rare.
I personnly feel the Caravanner has one of the better floor plans if you have kids. Nice size reefer, lots of counter space and sleeps 4 without much problem.
