16' Sport sleeping capacity

Considering buying a 16' Sport. Does anyone know if the front dinette converts into a bed/sleeping are or is it fixed (so that it cannot be made into a bed)? Thanks.

Welcome to the Forums!

The 16' Sport has the same floor plan as the 16' Internationals and other variations of Bambis...in fact, they have the same dinette configuration as our 19' Bambi...and in those, yes, the dinettes convert into beds... You should go definitely spend a little time in any trailer yo care considering buying, though, just so you have a good sense of the room.

Yes is does make into a bed that is decent. I recommend excusing the sales person and you closing the door and spending some time in the unit to make sure you can deal with the size. Make sure to stand in the shower and yes sit on the toilet!

We've slept three adults for a weekend. No problem. Thinking we would keep the bed down, the bugs had us change plans. We put the dinette back up for meals. Sill not an issue.

Completely agree. Got a 16 Safari sport, (love it) but its tight for more than 2. Plenty of room on floor for third but keep tent handy to put the kids in. We set up small 2 person tent right outside under awning and worked out perfect. Would consider loosing cabinets and relocating radio above dinette if there was a way to put in fold down single cot. Who ever comes up with that has my next few paychecks, lol. Everyone says smaller Airstreams are better, I agree. Thinking about it I would almost loose fridge and closet to increase sleeping capacity.
