Where has Gretchen gone - Airstream No-Customer_Service
Folks, I am rarely on forums and seldom have a need to talk to Airstream Corporate (Airstream.com). I have a complaint about Airstream Corporate Technical Support and have no idea how or where to post it to do some good. Until several months ago, whenever I called or emailed Airstream Corp. Technical Support, I spoke with Gretchen. I don't know about you but when I asked her a question I got detailed (i.e. part numbers, etc.) answers, 100% correct, 100% of the time. I didn't have to go to the website, search the internet or whatever. Then one day I called and a different voice answered. "Gretchin is no longer here" Ouch. Since that time, whoever is in Customer Support blows me off to Parts or the web site. Not even a "Let me transfer you to parts". I am hoping that Gretchen got promoted to executive VP of something because she knew how to take care of people. This morning instead of being able to order my part on the spot over the phone, I had to create a user account on the web, then navigate a somewhat confusing route to get to to part I wanted. I prefer the live voice vs the web for a couple of reasons, not the least of which is asking follow up questions to be sure I don't order something that doesn't fix the problem.
Does anyone else encounter this or am I the only one?
