Can you tell me what are the small "tanish" colored squares in the square
near the Avatar?

At the bottom of the avatar area, is your warn meter. 99+% of members here will never see anything but 0%. The other 1% or so will occasionally see those tannish squares turn yellow if they have made a forums fau-paux serious enough to garner the attention of the moderators. They will turn red if repeat infractions occur, and lower at the rate of one square every 90 days.

Posting the lyrics from the latest Eminem ditty would probably do the trick...

Well, you see, that is part of the process of earning your "rivets".

When you have used the forum enough, you will figure it out and then some.

Apparently, I have enough rivets to get me enough rope to do serious harm.

But maybe I will just scream in here!!!

Maybe I'll be OK.

How do you get the "quote" in your reply inside that little light blue rectangle at the top of your message???

Speaking of quotes...
"Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read." Groucho Marx

Happy Victoria Day from Canada!

Click on the quote button in the post you want to quote and then add your test below it. If you modify the quote be careful not to change the html tags at the beginning and end of the quote. If you do it will not look like a quote!

Quote:
You can also highlight the information you have entered and then select the quote icon from the edit menu bat. This will put a quote anywhere you want it!

Ahh, I miss the good old days when you could get a warning just for making frog & rivet jokes.

Changing the picture does not affect the rivet display. If you select a "Custom User Title" your rivets will not be displayed.

Warning: According to my profile I am a rivet master....This is not true....if it were true we would all be in serious trouble. The truth is I am a complete idiot who just asks lots of really dumb questions frequently.
