what happened to the manual list?

Hi all!

I have a new friend who bought something from me on Ebay for her Airstream and never heard of the forums! So now she has :-)

She is looking for the manual to a 1970 Globetrotter.. didn't we used to have a list (thread) of manuals on the forum?

Where did it go? I can't find it :-(

I don't recall us having downloads of any manuals. Promo materials or brochures have been put up by some members; eg, Kevin Allen & Argosies, Carefree awning pdf. Manuals would be so much larger files that it sure would stick in my head. The usual boilerplate reply is:

Here is the only manual list that I know of... located on the VAC site. It does not make it into the 70's though.

This may also help.

I wish the VAC would set a goal to spend the resources to aquire as many manuals that it can find, then scan and publish them. Lack of availability of period literature is likely to give many restorers a good reason to go non-original.
