there is a thread tools box
clicking on it reveals a drop down
I'ld like to share this thread with a member here
BUT I've no idea what their e-mail is.
would it not be easier to have a PM forward?

Good suggestion Tim. Yes, I'd usually prefer not to reveal my email -- and that is what would happen with the 'Email this page' option. I'll snag our secret super operative and have her look at this -- can't say who that is but her name starts with J and ends with what I dip into the water to land fish.

I think the intent of the e-mail option is to share w/ a non-member. I don't know of any way to let a member know about a specific thread other than copying the url of the thread and then pasting it into a pm.

I have to admit to having e-mailed myself an occasional link to a thread....
