The Airstream Registry
After many years of tossing around the idea of creating a registry for Airstream owners we have finally released v1.0 of the Airstream Registry. You can find the link to this new system in the navbar at the top of every page.
The system is designed to make it easy to see each others entries right under their avatar.
You can edit your entry at any time. If you are restoring your trailer put some before pics and as your project progresses you can update the pics to keep everyone in the loop!
The system is built to collect information from everyone and organize it into the database. The registry is searchable. As the database populates with information we will roll out new features that leverage this data.
All members are provided one entry to the registry for FREE. If you own more then one Airstream and would like to list them all in the registry then you will need to upgrade your account to an AIR Supporting Member ( link).
Please post your thoughts, comments, feedback, suggestions, etc. to this discussion.

Very nice way to see everyone's Airstream by username in one place! Thanks Andy.

Well, that IS cool. I've done mine, and it's nice to have a bit more space to put details in, and even photos.
Thanks,
Andy!

Lucy is in there. It's easy to do. Give it a try.

andy, using Windows XP & firefox 3.5.6 the nav bar is almost twice as long as the reat of the page. can you split that one line into two to avoid scrolling to get to the end of the nav bar?

Airstream Registry
Added both my Overlander and Minuet to the Registry. Smooth and easy operation. Only encountered one small glitch -- after trying every variation of the process that I could think of, I was unable to select photos using the URL of the photo contained in my AirForums photo album.
This is going to be a fantastic resource with so much material readily at hand.

This will be a neat feature! I put the basics in for my trailers to get a feel for how it works...will fill-in more details later.
The only question/suggestion I have would be if this is going to stay chronological or can it be alphabetized? I know as it get more populated, it will become difficult to find specific user's information...just a thought ~
I guess if the search feature works well, that'll do it though...haven't checked it out much.
Shari
<on edit> I looked at the dropdown menu and it looks like there are several ways to sort...sorry!

From the drop down menu from 'Registry' on the tool bar, select 'Browse by User Name'. This will provide the list alphabetically.

Andy,
Can a link to the users registry and photo gallery be put on their profile page automatically? This would make it easier if, while reading a forum post, you could get to that users registry and photos without searching under each separately.

They are both on your profile page. The photo gallery can be accessed from the "Gallery" tab and then select "show all". There is a "Registry" Tab but since it is the last one on the right, it does not show. Click on the >> at the end of the tabs and it will display.
