Hi! I've just returned from a camping trip and wanted to submit a campground review. I found the campground review area of the forum but I can't seem to locate a section that will allow me to submit a NEW review. Admittedly, I am more than a little "challenged"

when it comes to computers...but can anybody point me in the "write" direction? Thanks!

I looked at the reviews section and it looks a little different than it used to. It appears that you may have to log into the reviews section - even after you have logged onto the forums.

If there is a tiny login button on the tool bar in the upper right hand of screen, then login again. (pic 2)

Once you are loggged in (if needed) then you should be able to click on upload - in the same general location (pic 1) You should be directed to the info entry page - follow directions. Hope this works - sorry you had trouble - I agree it's not very obvious.

Thank you so much for your assitance! Your directions were so clear and the thumbnails were very helpful! I posted a review of the campground we visited in Big Bear, California. I feel so capable now!

The "Campgrounds" button can be found at the top of the "Home" page directly under the title of the website"THE AIRSTREAM KNOWLEDGE SHARING FORUMS." It is the fifth tab over from the left in the row of buttons that begins with the one labeled "PORTAL." Just click on "Campgrounds" and you'll link directly to the review sections which are divided according to regions in the U.S.

I am going to upgrade the review system soon and work on all the usability issues that it has once we are on the next version. I also have an awesome new menu system that drops down from the tabs above that will make this SOOO much easier. Look for lots of enhancements in the next month.

Oh, wow, I can't wait! I've wanted to provide info on the wonderful places we stayed during our last vacation (along with a couple of snotty comments about campgrounds that were listed in the WBCCI book, but denied giving discounts).

Steph - Those symbols aside, that was a very nice review. It may have inspired me to share a few of the gems I have stayed at this past summer/fall. Wherever I intend to travel, I always try to find a review first, and have found them to be very helpful in many cases.

I think the review idea is great too silverranger--especially given how much camping experience the members of this forum have collectively. Maybe Andy R will take pity on me and help me to fix the thing. I have noticed them in the responses to ads in the classified section.

Hi,

I have tried to submit a Campground Review twice in the last two weeks. Both times my post goes into the ozone and never shows up! What am I doing wrong???

(I do not see the second "Login" text on any of the screens that come up, as mentioned in earlier post on this subject!)

I followed Janet's excellent instructions and just successfully posted a review, err information, regarding Jersey Shore Haven Airstream Park in the Airstream Only Parks section.

I agree, Janet's instructions are great! However, I have tried to post to the 'Southwest' Campgrounds section twice, and both times I did not get any second "login" option as she shows in her screen shots.
I filled out all of the fields, hit the submit button, waited a while until the screen reloaded and came up totally blank, and read the status bar at the bottom of the window that said "Done". But my post is nowhere to be found!
Could it be that the accompanying photos I added were too large? I didn't see any indication that there is a file size limit on the photos . . . .

Just an FYI in case any others encounter problems:
I was finally able to post a Campground Review by reducing the size of each my photos to no greater than 360 pixels wide!

Just realized the Campground tab was there [I'm a bit slow]. I've posted a few campground reviews to the "On the Road" forum and have seen others posted there. Is it better to create a "product" and put it in the Campgrounds section? Maybe upload the basic campground into to the Product section and then start a new thread in the "On the Road" forum pointing to the new campground review?

Just wondering what the consense is.
