Stolen Airstream!

Our 1953 Flying Cloud, 19' was STOLEN from our property!
It was a vacation rental at the Dolores River Campground.
My dad & I restored it, with the help of many talented friends.
If you see in on the road, or for sale somewhere, let me know!
It has a white rooftop AC unit and a rear passenger dent that was repaired, but still visible if you really look!
Yellow interior is another unusual feature.

Sorry to hear this but wouldn’t some exterior pictures be more beneficial?

Is this the trailer?

We stayed at the campground a few years back and I believe the Flying Cloud was still a project then.
I ave friends in Durango and Mancos, I will give them a heads up.

Recovered!

I agree, an exterior pic would have been better - I tried to post several pictures, but maybe only 1 is allowed?
Anyway, a BIG thank you to California Dreaming Vintage Trailers. Through a series of interesting events, they returned our trailer to us within days of it being stolen.

Thank you Jerod Saiz!

Great news!

For everyone's information, the user name above is different than the OP.

I'm kicking off a few months of 4 corners/UT/AZ/NV meandering next week starting with some time staying at The Views.

Was already entertaining the idea of booking a week at Dolores River Campground if the mountain biking merits extending my stay.

Are stolen Airstreams a thing in the Cortez/Dolores area?

I’m glad you got it back. I wish more stories ended that way.

Trailers can and are stolen anywhere - I live in the four corners area and frankly do not leave my vintage trailer exposed - I think it’s just as possible to have a trailer stolen here as anywhere - having said that I’m not aware of any other airstreams being stolen in this area - since this one was “returned” wondering if someone may have borrowed it thinking they could ? Yea more info would be great to give us a sense of what happened

I would love to hear the rest of this story. I suspect there’s quite a lot of rest of story.

Cheers,
John
