Sending / receiving messages
I cannot seem to be able to communicate with the private messaging .
If an incoming message has an email address my reply is rejected.
Same thing if I try and send my email to another member.
Can someone help me make this work ?
I really do enjoy the forum discussions but cannot seem to get involved with the discussions.
Be well ,,,,,, David

In a private message, you hit reply in the button down below on the right and it would generate a new reply..... Does that not work or am I not understanding?
To use a regular email address you would need to copy it into whatever you use normally.

If I try and a post quick reply with a email address and message will not be sent ?

The reason for that may be your low post count.
Until you have a certain number of posts, your messaging priviledges will be restricted.

Well that's a sure fire way to discourage new members...

It's a good way to slow down spammers, the bane of everyone who runs a forum like this.

Exactly why. We have protocols in place and message exchange limitation for low post (aka new) members is one of them. A simple request to one of the site team staff will address the issue.

I'm a new member how do I request site team staff to let them know that I'm not a spammer?

Are you a Spammer?
Actually with 20 + posts to your account you've met the threshold and are clear to post and contact members via the PM system.

I sent Ken J a private email that he has relieved.
I do understand the challenges the administrators deal with and have no problem playing by the rules. I'm sometimes a little slow to figure out the protocols .
Thanks to all who helped me with this ,,,
Be wel
David
