Search Problem
I can not get the Advanced Search menu to open from the Membership List / Search window. It just displays the membership list. The standard search (name) works fine, it's the advanced search option.

There seemed to be a total server outage a couple hours ago. Some other functions are not back to normal. Please try it again later and report back if still not working.

Sorry about the problems lately. The member list should be working fine again. I will go post an update about what has been going on.

I am having a problem when I open a forum thread in the New Posts to read it and then use the back key to back arrow to return to the list of New Posts. The site seems to interpert using the back key as a new search and I get the error message saying I have to wait 20 seconds between searches. For me as a user it isn't a new search but returning to the previous screen and I do see the same list of New Posts. I would interpert a new search as one in which I selected New Posts but then I would get a new list updated. Is there a solution , is it really a new search or do I just have to read slow before I back up?

What browser are you using?
Are you clicking the new posts link on the upper blue tool bar?
Lets see if we can figure this out....

Janet, I am using the most recent Mac operating system and browser, OSX 10.4, the browser Safari 2.0.4. I didn't seem to have the problem a few days earlier. I checked my browser settings and don't see where I would change anything.
The problem happpens when i go to a thread that doesn't have many items ot read or that I haven't read and then click the back button on the keyboard or the back arrow on the browser. I haven't tried it since I wrote the reply. I'll check it today.

Janet, I just checked it , no problem. It let mme open a thread and then imediately go back to the list of threads using the back key.
I can't explain it but it did do it for one or two days this past weekend.
