Search Function Busted

I have periodically check to see which threads are the most active by using Advanced Search and specifying a minumum number of replies as part of the search. This used to work just fine, but for at least a couple of weeks (or maybe longer) it's not been returning the correct results.

For example, do an Advanced Search on the word "Airstream" and request only results with a minimum of 1900 replies. This search should return 3 results, but it currently is returning only 1. A similar search with a 1000 reply limit is returning only 4 results, but I think it should be returning two to three times that number of results.

Please look into this and get it back working correctly. Thanks.

I had the server admins make some changes on the way searching is done today. I will have to rebuild our search index. Please give it the might to rebuild and check tomorrow.

Just thought I'd let you know, it's been a couple of days, but I just checked and the Search functiuon is still returning incomplete results. Nothing appears to have changed yet.

if you.'re looking for something specific, using google and adding the web address to the search works pretty well.

Over 2 months since first reported and the Advanced Search function using "Find Threads with at least ____ replies" still does not work correctly. Perhaps someday it will get fixed.
