screen door out of alignment

Crazy question,
Screen door out of alignment on my '03 31' classic. Gap at top and bottom. Having a dickens of a time trying to get door aligned. Is it ok to try and bend door or do I have to bend hinges. Hinges are riveted and no adjustment. Do not know where to start

Bending is the fix but you have to know how to bend it. You might need a wood black and a hammer to nudge the hinge.

Mine had a gap at the top. I presumed it was from the PO holding on to the handle while going down the steps. I held the bottom and pulled in on the top and torqued the door until the gasket seated evenly along the latch side. I was concerned about breaking a weld on the door, but didn't.
