Rivetmaster Level
Hi everyone,
I'm relatively new to this board so forgive the question if it's totally obvious: I see most people have a rivet master designation. I myself have one rivet, whereas some others have a whole bunch of them. What is this based on? Is it relative to the number of posts? Just curious.
I'm an engineer and a decent mechanic. I've always wanted an Airstream and finally got a '77 Excella 31'. It needs some work, but is a sound coach. The knowledge available on this board is incredible. I'd just like to thank everybody on here for sharing what they've learned. I'm sure I'll learn a lot when I rip into mine, and I'll be sure to share whatever I find that may be useful. Keep up the good work!
Jim

Keep posting and you'll become a rivet master in short order. You just need 91 more. Not too difficult if you ask alot of questions or have alot of answers.

Jim - keep posting - you'll get rivets or... alternatively you could send a bribe a moderator to add some rivets to your account... I really do need a shiney new 25 foot CCD....

Woohoo annother 70's vintage owner! Jim let us know if you need any pictures or help with subsystems. I have taken mine about as far a part as I can without comletely scrapping it and now it is going back together.

You 70's guys. I am in the same boat as Aaron, but a decade earler.
Keep asking questions or contributing to the board. You will have more rivets than you will know what to do with sooner then you think.

Nor can I, RivetED. I thought it was a West Coast only thing, but now I know for sure it spread South and East somewhat!
My greywater tank is actually blue (go figure) and has wheels.
