Problems uploading photos
Ok, so I have an IPad 2. I am trying to upload photos and the area is grayed out so I can' t upload any from my computer? What' up? What do I do?

Are you using the app or the web site. For the app just tap the + symbol next to the send button and choose your photo. The web site didn't let me upload photos.

The choose file on any option is grayed out. Do you have to have an upgraded account to upload pictures? What is an upgraded account anyway?

You have to use the app. On the iPhone and iPad the choose file is grayed out. I am a supporting member but that won't make a difference. Here is the link to support the site if your interested.

But go to the app store and add the ap so you can upload photos. Pm me if u need more help.

The app wouldn't show choose file. It would look like this.
Advanced
Attach from photos
Click the picture you want to upload.

I can upload a pic from the advanced button when replying but can't upload to a gallery. The option to select is greyed out. What am I doing wrong? I'm using the newest iPad 3. Thanks for any help!

For others reading this post.... I just checked to see if I can upload from my laptop. I can. So there must be something about the Ipad app that is preventing uploading to a gallery.

Vertically formatted pics from any iDevice have a gremlin that Apple has so far declined to fix. They look normally oriented on your iPad or phone but rotate when you attach them. This will also happen when you email such images to friends and family.
Only one orientation of your iPad or iPhone pics will email or post correctly. Turn your device 90° counterclockwise before taking a picture. Use this horizontal formatting only. This isn't a forum problem. It's Apple's fault.

The apps do not contain all the functionality of the full webpage. For instance, I can't even find the gallery on my iPhone app. I don't have an iPad and can't fully test this premise as it applies to your case.
Other iPad owners? Is what you see consistent with DixieDarlin's experience?

I'm not able to post any pictures from my IPad 2. The button is greyed out as well. I can take pictures with my IPhone and post pictures without any problems.I haven't tried posting to my gallery though.

I have an iPad2 & I'm trying to upload from a picture I just took & a picture that was already taken. Let's see if it works. It looks like it.
