Problem Posting With XP Computer

Just set Up a new desktopcomputer but it will not allow me to post. I can put in the title but nothing else. I can fill in what I want but when I try to post I get an error that the post must contain at least 3 characters.

What could be stopping it?

Hi mwells4654. Okay, let's work this from your original computer. We'll take this stepwise and try to set you up right.

It is true -- a post without any text in the main post window (eg, with just photos attached) will not be allowed to display. This is a software issue. Place an introductory word or two in such cases. Placing a title does not count toward the "at least 3 characters" rule.

Now, your specific problem... Do you type and see the words sequence properly in the main entry window? It just gives you the "must contain at least 3 characters" dialog after you hit 'Submit Reply'?

Please post back to this thread and let me know about that last question I asked you.

I typed an answer to one of the post in my thread. I finally went to the windows 2k computer to answer the thread. I typed the same thing on both computers and it look fine but on the XP computer it would not post. I am using my Vista laptop now and no poblems.

Figured it out - This is the only computer I installed Explorer 8 with all the bells and whistles. Got rid of the grabage and it works fine.
