Photo uploading

Two problems:

Don't see "Upload" button in photo gallery.

Click album Administration in an attempt to create a new album and I get this error:

Parse error: parse error, expecting `','' or `')'' in /home/airphoto/public_html/photos/adm-cinc.php on line 101

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: albumli() in /home/airphoto/public_html/photos/useralbums.php on line 66

I would like to upload a picture and create a new album, and can't do either, but I have another question. When should I send a post like this, when I first notice the problem, or should I wait a few days and see if it goes away?

Jim

I am working on this. The photo software is very picky and I should get this fixed once and for all this week. Sorry for the delays!

Andy,

Thanks for your reply and all that you do. I will try again next week. My career always involved software and I believe that all software should have a warning label from the Surgeon General saying, "This application is both picky and a danger to your mental health."

Thanks again!

I sometimes wonder if the software shouldn't be coded like so many other products based on age of user (younger appears better) or ease of use? Most software that I end up dealing with should just be labeled P.I.T.A. course that is a given if the word "Microsoft" is anywhere on the package

I agree with you wahoonc. P.I.T.A. and MicroSoft just seem to go together naturally. BTW - as a male, who would name their newly formed company Micro and Soft. Just doesn't make sense. Is there a message there somewhere?

Really, there is. Micro computer Soft ware.
Back when Bill & friends started the company, most computers capable of doing anything were the size of a small house.

Hope I didn't start a MS rant. I had a software guy working for me whoses personal form of self-discipline was to complain about software products and the corporate IT organization only on Fridays.

What is P.I.T.A.?

I still have the same problem refered to in the original post of this thread. Should I do something different or wait?

Andy, if I were you, I'd shut down the photo link and enjoy the holidays. Best wishes to you and your family.

FYI - The photo site will be up and running again in the next 3-5 days. I finally gave up and am having the vendor fix the issue. Sorry for the dealy in getting that site fully functional. I will post an update when it is fixed.

Thumbs up Progress....

It appears that the photo site is back up for viewing! Yippee!

No word yet on when additional pictures will be able to be posted...but at least we can look at the old ones!

Thanks Andy!

Still have same problem as in original post, and I'm still waiting. Is anything happening?
