X, you are so sweet, so naive, so... unacquainted with the relatives of That Man Who Used to Live in My House. Not one of them could hold a job, keep a marriage together, raise a literate kid, pay back a loan, maintain civil relations even among themselves. But being broke, ignorant, shunned & depressing was never THEIR fault--that blame lay with the govt/the schools/the Hatfields/the McCoys/insert-racial-slur here.

And no, I'm not bitter about having to spend years of holiday dinners amid all that misery--just having flashbacks!

Summerkid,

I loved your earlier post. You seem to have insight into their madness.

I guss two complainers out of 4500 member is pretty darn good.
For all of us that help and are helped by this forum, and those who feel it is quite worthwhile as it is, and so we spend a little of each day visiting here; I say close this thread. Ok I will!

Aren't upgrades wonderful!

Most of the noted holes have been fixed. If you find that your model is not there, let me know and we will try to get it added ASAP. PM would be preferred.

Thanks

Forum welfare. Whine and yea shall receive, no work required. I think the Clinton reference was a "misdirection".

Angry I don't get it.

I've been a member here for nearly 2 years and have somehow managed to gather ALL of the Airstream information I needed or wanted so far without the aid of a complete forum of AS's by model and year, and I've never found need to throw a temper tantrum to get what I want
I've seen Andy and the moderators unjustly attacked as in this thread, yet respond graciously and politely.
I've shared chuckles and grins with fellow members and shared their despair with rotten floors, dents and unscrupulous sellers. I've been entertained by threads about dogs, cats and beer. I've met new people and made new friends who share my enthusiasm in Airstreams., all courtesy of this FREE site.

After reading this thread, it's obvious that I've been shortchanged. I've had to spend countless hours doing my own research to get the info I need on this less than perfect site instead of demanding that it be spoon-fed to me.
Well no more mister nice guy. I demand a 24 hour toll-free hot line to Andy and the moderators and I want it NOW. Hear?
While I'm at it, I demand that Fred and Amfab stop drooling.

Agree with Rog0525, get ALL of my information from the general forums. In fact most of the time I read posts from the Home page, seldom visiting the individual forums themselves.

I also like the discussions shared by forum members on beer, cats and dogs, computers, etc. Pets are one of the main reasons people chose RVing over staying in hotels/motels, so it ties in nicely with anything Airstream.

In my opinion this is THE BEST RV/Camping site on the net!
