NOTICE: Switching to a new network
I wanted to let you all know that I will be switching the site to a new network today. The old provider has been giving some members very slow connection speeds for the last couple of weeks ( read more about this issue here). We will be moving to a more sophisticated network with more backbone providers and route optimized technology to optimize the speed at which you connect to our server.
This switch should cause very little downtime but a DNS change will be required. Our DNS is set to refresh every 20 minutes so no one should be down longer then that. For most people the downtime will be significantly less.
I will post an update after the switch is complete and then solicit your feedback on site speeds after the changes. As always, thanks for your patience and continued participation in our community.

I guess I was one of the one's that got caught between the provider change over. Couldn't get in for about 45 minuets. But, all is now fine in the land of Airstream !

Andy...FYI...
I continue to get the "404 - Not Found" message whenever I attempt to cast a ballot in the polls on the home page. 
Thought you should know.

Many of the current polls, aren't. We know about it, but it's been a low priority, compared to keeping the other stuff going.

My id bit on the left hand side is sorta squished when i go back and view a reply i have just posted.... not sure if that makes sense! Not a prob but thought it might be a symptom of summat else

Sharon, I have seen this before on my computer, and it seems to be a browser problem. Last time I upgraded, and changed the screen resolution, the problem stopped.

Things seem to be running a bit smoother now than between 4:00 & 6:00PM CDT. Everybody else doing okay? Would somebody from each corner of the country chime in? Thanks!

I could not get to the site untill an hour ago, It is running ok, but sometimes it seems to hang opening a thread from the NEW POST screen. If I select it again, it opens fine....

Ditto what Richard said... Actually I was on line at the site one second and it went down in the next second...off about an hour here... It's still a bit sluggish when I click a new thread..but if I hit "stop" and try again, it goes right through...

Site is significantly faster here now than it was all afternoon. There were many times a page would not load, or a post would not go through. Probably during the changeover.
Working great now...

Aacckkk!!! Still very slow through Cable One up here in Show Low AZ. We completely lost you for several hours earlier (DNS propagation?).
