I stopped getting e-mail notifications to my subscribed threads. Does anybody know what's going on?

We are having some trouble with this and many folks, especially aol users are not getting e-mail notifications. If you are not getting mail from the forum that you believe should be, it would be helpful for us to know who your isp is.

Ditto...not getting emails. ISP is local provider bendbroadband not AOL

That's who the total blame goes to.

They are blocking it. Well, maybe not entirely.

My "contact us" on our web site is also being blocked.

So we had to have it removed.

Our web site monitoring company has been fighting with AOL now for almost 3 weeks.

Janet is on to the problem, thank goodness.

Time will tell, I guess.

Other than that AOL has been good to me ever since I went on line.

I asked the IT guy at work and he suspects it may have to do with the routing once it leaves the AirForums servers. FWIW I use Embarq routed through my Verizon Crackberry and seem to be getting all of mine.

Yahoo can be slow at times...I have a Yahoo account and I can CC an email to that account and couple of others and it is usually the last to arrive. I have had the best luck with Gmail as far as delivery and not getting caught in my spam filters.

We stopped getting them too. Our service provider is Comcast.

I do not belive it is my ISP. I have spam filtering tuned off on my Comcast account and use Microsoft Outlook as my e-mail program via the POP and SMTP settings.

We changed some addressing on the back end here and now some ISPs including aol are filtering mail from us as spam. We are working with these providers to have blocking removed. So - while it is your ISP, there is no change you can make to alter what you recieve (it's up to them). Thanks for being patient.

If I recall correctly, when this happened before, it was because of a problem in DNS...perhaps with the MX record of the airforums server. If the receiving mail server isn't able to confirm the identity of the sender via a reverse dns lookup, it'll consider it spam.

As of yesterday, all my notifications started up again! Looks like the squeaky wheel theory works!

FWIW, I never had a problem--been getting emails from airforums several times a day every day back into at least the middle of February. My forum mail comes through sbcglobal.net (Yahoo! is AT&T's ISP). Just a data point for your troubleshooting.

Hi Janet- Our subscribed emails also stopped recently so this morning
I reported this issue to AOL, our ISP, and they checked my current settings which show to allow. My spam folder is also empty.
They then asked me to forward this site to you in case you would like to access the aol postmaster to further investigate the problem. http://postmaster.aol.com/waters/sa_form.html Hope this helps.
