i can't find my 65,534 either.

i was reading awhile back that there is a glitch that gives 65534. not sure why your 1 message isn't there.

do you get notified via email when you get a new PM? if so you can check that to see who sent it to you.

I think it's a bug in the forum software.

Mine shows 65534 unread messages with a total of 51.

Send a message via AIM to warbler5
Well, I have one more than the rest of you:

You last visited: Today at 06:28 PM

However, I have two sent messages that are not showing up, and I know one was read, because the recipient called us at home!

The maibox is definitely in bug mode....

This could be part of the issues we have been having since the server move. Have you put them on the "new server" thread?
I don't think it is a network problem, but you could post them here:http://www.airforums.com/forums/f318...ent-35185.html

I don't know why I didn't see that. Thanks for jogging my memory there. I'm pretty sure I know what's happening now.

There's no magic here. The number 65535 is the highest number which can be represented by an unsigned 16 bit binary number.

Check your indexes as they are probably maxed out.

I magically achieved the mythical 65535 unread message status today, with a total of 35 messages. Come on guys, this is part of that secret near Rivet Master initiation, isn’t it? Last Sunday, I had 440 posts, went to the store, and had 435 when I got back. You guys are pulling my leg, right?
