Marking locked threads

Is it possible to mark locked threads on the home page (list of latest posts), like they are on their forum page?

I just read 3 pages only to find it locked when I got to the end.

I decided I was going to respond when I got almost to the end - then it was locked. Also, I didn't notice the 'thread lock' icon at the beginnig when I started reading - maybe you could just make it red, or another bright color - that would be pretty easy to do, I think - so it would be easier to see.
