Malware in the Classifieds

Has anyone noticed the CONTINUE links in the post your RV for sale in the Classifieds? Hit that link instead of the NEXT link and it will immediately hi-jack your computer.

Those icons appear web wide. They count on people not looking closely at the icon to see what it does or where it goes.. Just pay closer attention to what you tap your fingers on.

Thanks. Good advice. But, it seems the forum managers could routinely clean these out of the site.

It's possible they are in your device/computer, I've never seen them. Running WIN 10 with ESET and Ublock adblocker.

I'm also wondering if this is an ad. You and I probably don't see it because of Ublock.

I cannot fathom how people operate on the web without a good ad blocker. Everytime I get on a computer without an ad blocker, I find it unusable.

I use the Brave browser with their built-in ad blocker, and I don't see "continue" buttons. On this page, the little lion icon at the top is showing 8 trackers & ads being blocked - so I guess it's working......
