Login Headache!

I've tried to ignore this, but I'm at the point now where this is bugging me. Everytime I login to this site, it says, "Thank you for logging in". The page then loads up and, instead of saying, "Welcome, StingrayL82", I have the User Name and Password page again! If I hit the refresh button, the page reloads, and it then says, "Welcome, StingrayL82".

Has anyone else encountered this problem? I suspect it's a setting on my computer, which I just recently reformatted, in the hopes of eliminating the problem, to no avail. The reason I say it's probably a setting on my computer is because it does this to me on www.thedieselstop.com too, however it does not do it on www.tdr1.com ...very strange.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm also curious how to solve this problem it only occurs when I try to login on my computer at work but not on my home laptop.

This is most likely a change in your browser settings or security scheme. Have you had any system updates recently?

We use cookies to keep you logged in at page changes. If your security settings are very high your system may be purging them at each page change. You can specifically enable cookie exchange with AIR in either your browser settings or perhaps your virus/security settings or in both places if needed.

Update

I updated my Mozilla Firefox last week and it screwed up all sites that required sign ins and passwords. I am still at a loss...have tried to clean the cookies and cache and reset my computer set up pages...no avail. Hope I am not forced into IE.

Now that would be serious!!

You might look at a program called xmarks that stores your bookmarks and syncs them up between your computers and various browsers. It's free and hassle free... Xmarks | Bookmark-Powered Web Discovery

I went through the same thing after a Firefox upgrade a couple months ago. I ended up completely removing FF and reinstalling, and that put everything right again.
