Logging off new interface and notifications

Please explain process for logging off the iPhone app.

Also, how do I stop notifications from posts?

Thanks!

Channing,

No idea how to log off, but to turn off notifications:

In the APP, click on the AIR logo in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
Then click on Notifications in the menu.
Click on the gears in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.

This should display the Notifications setting screen. Now you can adjust what you want notifications on, or turn them off completely.

Chris, thanks!
I did turn off notifications before sending this question.

Perhaps I do not know how notifications work?

Am I supposed to get pushed messages telling me about new posts even when the notifications are off?

Sorry if I am not clear... Thanks again!

I'm not getting any messages about new posts. I turned all notifications off using the master off button on the notifications screen.

If you're still getting pushed notifications, I'd ask about it in the "New Software Features - Ask here" thread. I think the moderators monitor that thread all the time. Might get a quicker answer from one of them in the know that way.

I tried following instructions to turn off notifications.

I have the new app on an iPhone.
There is no Air logo in the upper left corner...
I can't remember what the old app looked like...
Oh- I got it- after you touch the three little horizontal lines at the top left in the red area...

To kill the app, press the main button twice, all your open apps will line up, just use your thumb to slide them up through the top of the screen.

I have an Android tablet, and I should have mentioned that. iPhone must have a different user interface.

Yup, there are different issues with the iOS version, I think the Android is actually working better... for a change.
