I just checked it. No problems here. When did you last update your forum app? I had an update downloaded in the past week. You might want to check iTunes store to see if there is an update you don't have.

Are you using the latest version? There has been several updates in the last few weeks.

Just tried the app on both my iPhone4 and this iPad2 connected to my net with no problems. We live in rural Virginia and so I don't have any way to check it in the Verizon network until tomorrow. More news then?

I have seen this error a couple of times on the Android app in the last week or two. I don't recall whether the last error was before my most recent update or since, but I definitely encountered that error a few times.

No problem here. Hare you tried rebooting the phone or quitting the program and restarting it? Since the the iPhone OS allows multitasking, the apps don't quit when you just hit the home button, they continue running in the background.
To quit an app you have to restart the phone or hit the home button twice, then press and hold any of the four apps that appear at the bottom of the screen. The icons start jiggling and have a red "-" sign on them. Press the minus sign to quit any of the programs, swipe to see more open apps. It sounds confusing to write it out, but in practice it's easy.
I find q uiting a balky app often helps.

No issues here on iPhone 3GS or iPad2
I am up to all the latest revisions on the app and IOS. I also shutdown the phone nearly everyday, but the iPad stays on. And I'm really impressed with the iPad app.

iOS 4.3.1 and iPhone 4. I see intermittent errors. I'm curious if it has anything to do with server traffic. Sometimes it works the first time, other times if I immediately perform the same search a second time then it works fine, sometimes it doesn't work after performing several searches.
Two other complaints I have with the App;
1) if you click on a link in a thread to direct you to another thread it displays in a window which appears more like a browser window in which case you can't reply to the thread. You can click the reply button in the browser window, but the comments section is not functional.
2) if you click on a link to an Airforums thread from another app like an RSS or news aggregate app (Pulse is awesome), that it automatically open in the AS app. Currently there is a popup message alerting you that there is an app available, with a link to download or cancel, but no option to re-direct to the app if you already have the app.
Overall I like the App, and it has one of the best icons on my phone!

For fellow users who are getting the parse error, I thought I would mention that on my app all I have to do is.
Do a search.
Get the parse error every time, click ok.
Click refresh in upper right corner.
Search always goes through without any problem.

Thanks for the heads up! That works perfectly for me too (and I haven't been able to search in months!)

Iphone 4
Question
I was using the forum app on my Iphone 3GS with no problems what-so-ever. But do to a recient dip in the swimming pool I had to upgrade to the Iphone 4. My app works and I can post and all the only thing thats missing is that when someone replies to one of my post I dont get a notification like I did with my Iphone 3GS.... Its not a big concern but was just wondering if anyone would have an answer for this?
Things Ive tried:
Updated phone
deleted app and reinstalled
reset app
checked in settings to allow notifications
Im stumped!
