Lightbulb How to use your own Avatar...

Direct link to your Avatar settings:
Click Here - There is an option to upload your own Avatar.

The Avatar must be no larger 102 pixels x 102 pixels or the application will not allow it. To make it this size you can upload the image you would like to use to your Member's Photo Gallery and then use the thumbnail it creates. Then find the thumbnail on AirstreamPhotos.com and right click on it and save it to your hard drive. Then follow the above link to upload it.

Another way is to use an image editor like Photoshop, Fireworks or any other graphics editor that allows you to resize a picture. Remember when you shrink an image this small it can get distorted. I would suggest cropping the image to include only the main part of the picture (maybe your Airstream).

Alternate route to your Avatar page:
Click the button at the top of the page labeled "user cp" or click here. This will take you to your User Control Panel. At the top of the User Control Panel you should see a link that says "Edit Options" click there. Then scroll all the way down and select "Change Avatar". Now follow the directions above!

If you use the "upload from your computer" choice,
you will need to change the file type in the window that opens. By default it will say .html and therefore you will not see the .jpg or .gif, you are planning to send. Change the file type to "all files".
