Help with iphone app.

Ok, I know some of you must have the iphone app for the airforums.
Here is my question?

The little red numbers that pop up. What are they about. For my email, it is unread email. But I can't figure them out on the forums app.
I hate seeing those little red numbers
They taunt me, they change, and i can't get rid of them

So if someone knows, and can help i would appreciate it.

They are the number of posts to which you are subscribed and have yet to be read. To simplify: new stuff you aint read yet.

But it automatically subscribes me to any post I post on. Can I turn that off. I don't need That on my iphone.

In the upper right corner there is a curved arrow. Touch it while in the subscribed thread and touch "unsubscribe"

I had that problem. I did not like the red dots either but wanted to stay subscribed.To do that when the app is open click on Airstream Community Forums. Then click on the little arrow at the top right of the screen. A pop-up will come up from the bottom and click on "Mark As Read". When you get back to your desk top the red dot will go away. Then you will still get email notices apon updates.

My little red dots don't come up unless I use the app. I always look at the ones I'm interrested in looking into and "mark as read" upon leaving
