Okay, I now have to hit "cancel" not only every time I visit the forums, but every time I open a thread. If a thread has more than one page, I have to cancel the app on page 2 as well. Apple says there's nothing wrong with their phone or software, and it must be a forum app problem. So, again, how do I get rid of this prompt forever?
And I am not going to give Apple my current credit card info, since the last time I did they managed to let it get compromised. Yes, you have to have a valid credit card on file to download a free app.

And just now when I hit "reply" , I got the prompt again, which I dismissed indefinitely again. Then when I hit "quote" to make this post, I got the prompt AGAIN!
Argh! If I didn't want it before, I sure don't want it now!!!

Google "open itunes account without a credit card". It worked for us. We can download free apps with no hassle.

I've been on the Android version for years and loved it. I now have a blackberry due to the choices of my employers IT dept. In the OP, there was mention of developing an app for blackberry. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this doesn't exist, right? Are there plans? Can I donate to the specific cause? Surfing the forums via a browser on blackberry honestly sucks.

Which BB do you have? From my understanding there is some sort of emulator software/app that will allow you to run Android Apps on the BB platform in BB10. Or you can do like I do an carry two phones, one for me and one for the company.

Unfortunately, Z10 is not allowed. Standard issue is the 9930 with full keyboard. I'll look for an emulator... never thought of that. Looks like I will buy a wireless tether app for the BB and use my old android phone through the BB connection and on WiFi whenever possible. Yup, looks like I'm carrying two devices. Love my IT dept!

My IT completely ditched BB about 3 years ago, I was the last hold out. They had to give me a Droid Pro to wean me off the hard keyboards. Now I have a Droid Razr Max and Droid Razr M. Still don't like touch screens but the Droids are light years ahead of the BB. I was a definite crackberry user. My first was one of the 6700 series last one was the Bold. Loved them but they fell too far behind on the technology curve.

I'm just hoping that maybe whoever put together the apps for iPhone and Android might still be lurking around here and feel inspired to do a legacy app for BB. Not being a programmer, I have no idea what this entails so maybe I'm way off base.

Would be nice to get rid of the RED banner on the top of the page and make it smaller. Those of us that have the smaller iphone screens keep losing content when the banner and ads take over

It is my understanding that is one of the issues that is being worked on for the iOS app. Stay tuned.

I understand the reasoning behind Airstream blue. However I would really appreciate a shade of blue that matches my eyes. That way it won't clash with my eye liner.

The new IPAD app update is a real step backward in my opinion. The search function doesn't work at all. The handy tabs across the bottom that allowed me to access the recent posts are gone. The thread posts provide less information as I scan through. And the whole thing just looks strange. I am sorry I "updated" to this new version.
Is the search function going to be fixed? I can search using the internet version, but it is now so full of annoying ads that I avoid it like the plague. Too bad all around. Accessing the Airforums to catch up with recent conversations had become part of my daily routine. No more.
