Forum App Popup

I have the forum app installed, although I don't use it because I prefer the web interface. Every second or third time I bring up the forums I get the Popup to install the app. This is highly intrusive and a pita. Can this be turned off somehow? If a person doesn't want to install the app must the forum keep badgering them?

If you already have the app installed, and it keeps giving you reminders to install the app, then why not uninstall the app you already have, since you don't use it anyway? It may stop the nag screens from popping up.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I installed it hoping the nags would go away. They didn't. Two issues here. Why continually nag someone who doesn't want to install the app, and why continue to nag after they do?

I just realized I have the old app on this ipad, and the new tapatalk on my phone. Maybe this nag is from tapatalk and it will go away after I install tapatalk. Worth a try. Still a good question why nag someone who doesn't want the app.

I had the problem, and part of it may be you are in private browsing mode, and part of it may be that you have Safari set not to accept some cookies.
It does seem to happen more with the newer IOS versions, and does it for me on every forum I visit, whether I have the app for that forum or not.
