We received an inquiry about our Safari and after the email there was a lot of info for the buyer. It said only use Escrow.com. Was that from admin here?

I don't know the exact answer, only that you should be very wary of scams. Escrow.com may indeed be legit, but research thoroughly before turning over money to a third party.

I tried to purchase a motorhome a couple of years back on Ebay. Turned out to be a scam (several things tipped me off) so I reported it to Ebay and they basically yawned. That "Seller" requested I send money to a scam escrow company. Just proceed with caution.

Cash transaction in person. They hand you the cash and you give them the keys.

I have been satisfied when I have sent and received wires. Safer than cash.

Good to hear escrow.com is legit. Just be sure and log directly into their website. The person trying to scam me sent an e-mail link which went to different site as I recall.

Poster didn’t say they are legit, although it appears to be so. But recent reviews are not very complimentary.

You may be right, but I thought they were referring to funds wired to escrow.com. Otherwise, wiring funds contains all the risks of other possible fraudulent transactions. The key question is do you trust the recipient?
