Error "excedes posting limit"

I am trying to post some pics with my questions and I keep getting an error telling me I have exceeded my posting volume. ????? Do I need to delete some of my previous posts? Help me out. How do I do this using my iPhone app?

BB become a supporting member. For $20 you get unlimited pics as well as many other benefits. Most of the questions you ask are avilable here already. You just need to search the forums properly.

I'd love to become a supporting member. Can you tell me where on the home page is the link to do that?

I guess I need some education on the proper use of search, huh? I thought this was also a forum of members that can contribute not just a library of topics. I tend to like the almost live interaction, such as this, more than the time sucking searches.

Upper right corner. Click "AIR Stickers". I'll be looking for your pictures.

Thanks. I tried it. It seems that the roll down $ value won't work using my iPhone. Frustrating!

Breadbug, I'd about bet you have not exceeded the maximum attachments for non-supporting members.

I don't have any first hand experience using this site with an iPhone. But I would recommend another place to start. Make sure any jpeg attachment is not too large. The site settings allow a jpeg with 1600 pixels maximum dimension (so this would be 1200 x 1600 for normal 3:4 digicam sensor proportions). There is some capacity with our software to automatically resize photos once submitted, but I don't trust it -- haven't seen it work well.

Most users' screen displays don't display a 1600 pixel wide image without scrolling. So save your upload space at AIR and maybe aim for a 900 x 1200 pixel resize.

Please post back here if there are still issues...

Ed sorry I didn`t mean to be negative, it`s just that this is basic stuff right in the forum topic you posted in. Yes this is a contributing forum but there is a ton of archived threads covering all aspects of airstream restorations. Many and I mean many others have done wonderful work long before you or I ever joined. I have learned a great amount of ideas and methods from reading the older threads. While asking a question will bring responses most topics have been covered and will give you plenty of ammunition for your restoration plans.
Anyway good luck and have fun with your trailer.
Chris.

Chris - whether finding old threads (not always obvious) or starting new ones -- the forum experience inevitably will accommodate both. Gotta advance our members by whatever means possible.

Ed/bug -- you'se be fine!
