Effects of the ignore function on mobile app

I realize there's a longish thread on the Ignore function but I read through it and this is a distinct issue.

I should've waited longer to adequately test this, but it seems that if someone I have put on my ignore list (there's only 1) has posted in a thread to which I'm subscribed, the mobile app (Android, at least) doesn't display that post at all (unlikely the note on the web that there's an invisible post there from the user I ignored.) The thread never gets marked as read, however, at least when that invisible post is the last one on the thread.

I should perhaps have waited longer to see if someone posted after the ignored poster, and if reading that later post from the mobile app would mark the thread as read, but I was poking around with it and when I had a chance to open the browser I went to the thread and it got marked as read in both places.

Also, the post-preview feature of the Android mobile app was showing me the partial text of the post from the ignored poster in the Subscribed Thread list, but wouldn't acknowledge the existence of that post when looking at the thread itself.
