Editing a post
How is a post corrected after submission? I have a typo, but see no provision to be able to edit it. Thank you.

You can edit your posts within the first 30 minutes or so of posting. There should be an "Edit" button in the lower right side of your post.

An edit button is available for a short period after you make a post. The option to edit will expire and the edit button will then be gone. You can always contact any moderator to make an edit.

If you miss making a correction within the time limit for edits, you can ask a moderator fix it, but most typos won't matter unless it a meaning-changing mistake... Most folks are able to "read through" a mistake or typo and can usually figure out what you really mean.

If we all asked the moderators to correct every typo we made, I suspect they would be a lot busier than they might care to be.
Thankfully, as TBRich pointed out, we speak Monitor here, so unless "on" should be "off" just relax and let it go...

The staff at Airforums is here to help any member that needs it no matter how small the issue.
Fixing typos would not be a high priority though.
