Editing a post

I find that after I submit a post that I have no way to edit it. There is no edit button available to me. Am I missing some.

There is limited time to do a edit...not sure but I think 30 minutes or less? Then it's no dice. The edit button will show up along the bottom right hand corner of the post if it hasn't timed out yet.

Best to check your post right away and make any corrections!

If you never have an edit button, even right after you post a new message, then something is wrong IMO. At the bottom of this page there is a "Contact Us" link which should get you some help to correct the situation. [in the blue bottom border, on the left]
