Rivet Copyright?

suppose a member had a 1967ish air brochure. could it be scanned and posted here? it might not be a great scan but makes for interesting viewing. i better put on my dark glasses.

Hello Ingrid -- You will occasionally see old brochure photos rotate through the 3 photo gallery pics featured every time you reload the Airstream Trailer & Motorhome Community portal page. Another example is overlander64's Argosy brochures. We would allow it -- and hope that our relationship with Airstream stays positive and reciprocal.

One of the better photo-intense threads is here: http://www.airforums.com/forums/f161...nse-35049.html. That type of attaching is a bit more complicated. It's just fine to attach them simply and let them appear at the bottom of a post.

Your images should be jpeg and not more than 100kb each. If you have different brochures it might be best to have individual threads for each one. Post back if you need more guidance.

ok, i'll be busy for a while resizing them. it is "the airstream story". 1967 i think. there might be a 1994 brochure but that will have to wait until december.

You could also put them in your Photo Gallery...I think it would be easier than in a post. If you have different brochures each could be in it's own album (sub-category). Check out my gallery to see what it would be like - the only thing that is "different" is you would want to upload the last page first, so when you are done you forward the slides from front to back in the album.

Thanks for sharing however you decide to do it!

Shari

P.S. the VAC website (although slightly out of date...we're working on it!) has some brochures already uploaded. You may want to save the effort if it's one that's already there...or share the images with the VAC too!

Open one of TomW's pictures and click on it again. The one I tried expanded to an 1194 x 1570 pixel size and is very easy to read.
