Is derritives of the word Airstream acceptable? Like Airstreamers (a noun) or airstreaming (a verb)?

Not sure, I will need to ask an intillectual property attorney about this. I will make a phone call and let you know.
My guess is that they will be ok because the word Airstream is not trademarked by itself since it is not a unique word (like Google). So it has to be trademarked with the use of other things like clothing, trailers, motorhomes, etc. I will let you know what the attorney says as soon as I talk to him.

Yeah, we need to keep moving on this. That being said, the word Airstream cannot be used in any of the taglines. I will go rework the first post and then we can get down to business of selecting one.
If you have any wonderful ideas for a tagline, please post soon as time for entries will be closing quickly.
Regards,
Andy

See Post 2 For Entries So Far
Please get creative! More AIRForums tagline submissions are welcome. They cannot contain the word Airstream. The intent is to choose a short bit of text that will overlay the URL when www.airforums.com is typed out (see post #1). Images will not be possible as I understand it.
If you've already posted in this thread please take a look at the submissions in post #2 of this thread. Your previous entries have been alphabetized by username for easy navigation. I have temporarily grayed out the word Airstream in any entry -- post a request for change yourself by the weekend or we will try to make the best conversion possible. I can't guarantee that conversion will be possible.
As before, once you post a new nomination or change, we will remove that post from view after we make the change to the master list in post #2.
We'll try to get some groundrules set for how the selection will be made. Democracy is good...

Please submit new taglines or post an edited version to this thread if your previous post included the word Airstream (not allowed). See post #2. Thanks!

How 'bout you morning coffee folks?
Please brainstorm over that java and come up with an idea for our URL slogan (see posts 51, 52; then #1 & 2).
Review previous submissions to edit out the word Airstream -- see post #2). ...or tweak them in any way you want. Please post again in this thread to change a previous submission. We'll be happy to do it for you.
Thanks for everybody's interest & participation!

Tagline Contest Closing Tonight
YOU get a chance to compose the tagline everybody will read when they see a link for airforums.com. This contest and thread will be closed at the close of my eyelids tonight -- probably about 11:00PM CDT.
This thread has had dozens and dozens of submissions. It looks a little 'skinny' because each member's submission is made invisible when it is moved to post 2 in this thread.
What can you do? Look at the previous submissions in post 2. We're looking for short text compositions that say what AIR Forums is all about. Please click 'Post Reply' below and let us know if you want to enter a clever one-liner in this contest.
Previous posters who included 'airstream' in their submission should look at post 2, revise to leave out the word 'airstream' and post your new idea again.
Thank you to everybody for participating! Janet will be starting a new poll thread where we all get to vote for our favorites. So, stay tuned ...

I have added a couple... - Aluminating Discussions & Riveting Friends
- The Streamers Community, Simply Riveting
Don't forget, it's ok to use the current taglines as inspiration for a derivative work...

The tagline submission phase is closed. Post 2 summarizes all members' contributions -- even Joe's (66Overlander) very last minute bit of fun. Thanks to everyone! Get ready to vote ...
