The Chat Room has been giving me problems for the past couple weeks, I dont understand why, it always worked fine, now it tells me that the server is busy, and cannot connect, why is this? I have the latest Java, and have never had issues, everyone eles seems to be able to get in the chat okay. Any help would be great, thanks!

We haven't had any reports lately - but we can keep a weather eye. I was just in chat (all alone) with no problems.

I was just in fine. Do you want to try getting in now and I'll hang out there for a few moments to see if you get on.

I just checked in there...it seems to be working fine on this end so it must be something in your settings. Sorry...
Have you tossed your cookies lately? Might help...

Also, see if updating your Java helps. My current version reads as Version 6 Update 3. Go to www.java.com, click 'Do I have Java?' and follow the instructions.

Laura - let's do some trouble shooting:
First - delete your cookies and temp internet files. This means that you will have to log in again. If you need instructions about how to do this purge PM me.
Next take a look at your security settings. If they are high you may be blocked. I have had some reports of folks running the first version of norton 360 having trouble. Set you levels to medum.

Perhaps you meant "Administrator"?
Only users with admin privileges can look at/set certain settings. It sounds like whoever set up the computer you are working from did not want you doing certain activities.
You are stuck until you can log on with administrative privileges.

Supervisor is a Norton AV account that is used to modify or remove the the application. Basically it is the administrator for Norton AV. I would suggest that you go to the Symantec website and seek assistance. They have a removal tool for each version that you can download, but it most likely requires the supervisors password to run. If you want to do a quick and dirty test to see if Norton is the problem, stop the services that Norton is running on your PC. I would not suggest this as a fix, but only for trouble shooting.
