For some reason, new members are not receiving confirmation emails.

They are being restricted from interaction with this site.

Can someone in the moderator staff look into this please?

I know some of these folks are getting a little frustrated with the issue.

It is hard for us members to promote the site if the newbies cannot get completely registered.

I just created a new sign on for me and found the registration process almost instantaneous. If folks are having problems with no email response, it may be the fact that they either fail to or enter an invalid email address.

Another possiblity is anti spaming processing from their email provider or rules within their email system. I've started seeing some folks who have anti spaming features that require me to respond to an email that is triggered by my initial email. Once I respond, my original message is allowed to pass through. I'm not sure if Andy's automated mailing can respond to these types of email verifications.

The confirmation address function seems to be working ok since the email to my yahoo account was there within 60 seconds of my submission.

We have had 6 new members today, and I seem to see folks joining daily and posting. Let us know if you have any further detail.

Thanks for your help Ken. We found the e-mail response in our "junk mail". Guess MSN doesn't understand Airstreams. Glad to be on board!!

We've got a pretty good feeling that the emails are going out. Thanks for checking your junk mail folder. Some systems may have a bulk mail folder also. So look around.
